Has Anyone Sold a Plan M or N Yet

Have you presented this to any of your clients or prospects yet Frank? What kind of response are you seeing?

I have talked to several existing clients about it but not shown them Plan N yet. I told them I will get back to them next month. I believe there is going to be a lot of interest especially for those who seldom go to the doctor. Remember, I only sell Plans D or G.

However, I expect Plan N to be very attractive to the prospects I contact who will almost all have a Plan F.

All Missouri agents, please continue to only sell Plan F. Jacqueline just loves to go shopping. :D

I'm just reporting back what my reaction is to showing Plan N. Granted it was only to a few clients. 2 that were pretty wealthy and didn't mind paying for Plan F. 2 that have Plan A for 36 a month and are very healthy and one couple that were sickly and used it quite a bit, also a Plan D client that has very high premiums but didn't like the $20 copay, she must go to the doctor alot, she didn't elaborate. Not the best canidiates, but I have at least started talking about it. I was hoping to have rates for all of the carriers....but their pulling the old AEP trick, we'll let you know at the last second what we have to offer, although this time it's June 1st. I'm just wondering what responses others are getting

Do the companies require different applications to be used with the new plans? I have only seen 1 plan approved so far and some companies are staying away from M and N.

MOO has a slightly different app for the new plans, at least that is what I have been told.

Some companies are not even filing for the new plans. Antex is one of them, I believe there are others.

You use the same app as always with MOO. That is my final answer er I mean I sure wish I was going to get rich selling those M&N plans this year but I dont see it happening. Help me Frankie see the light cause right now Im just not seeing it. And dont tell me that all those tightass and poor Medicare Advantage plan holders are going to come out of the woodwork looking for supps. First of all I live in a big city and there aint that many people on those MA plans and besides its fair to say at lease half of those tightass and poor MA plan holders would not make suitable clients. I want to feel it people. I want to make lots of money selling these new plans to. I do I do I do!:1frown:

United World has the same med-supp app. in Alabama...for standardized vs. modernized.

MoO has a different app. in Florida for standardized vs. modernized...adding just the one health question(ESRD), for plan N offers.

Yes... ANTEX is out of the Med Supp business effective June 1st.

I spoke with someone at Standard Life and they confirmed this. She also expressed what I thought was a given, anyway: Standard doesn't need to have a competitive product within their own house. I wonder what MOO thinks about such things?

AARP is adding a few such questions in some states, too. No longer are they uniformly "guaranteed issue"!

Their adding too many questions. It's still a good deal in Florida for 65 year-old males with OE. Beyond that, not so much from what I've seen so far.
