It's like anything else. If you put in 50 solid hours every week, you will probably make something. If you put in 20 hours every week, you probably won't make $100,000.

But anything is possible. You probably won't make $100,000 your first year, but it is absolutely possible. Sell 3 individual health policies a week and you'll come close to $100k.

Stop thinking so much about creating a permanent money train and start selling. In fact stop thinking altogether and start interacting with people. Even if you sell one individual health policy a week, you'll probably make around $36k and you'll have at least $9k coming in the following year at renewal (but in reality it will be more, because some people will want to change companies because of premium increase and you will get new business commission.)

halis, i like people like you, straight forward and to the point. I think i can definately do it i would just like a little mentoring to help me through the rough patches, but then again everyone i talk to says none of the captive agencies give you very much training, depending on the dm, so why not just jump in.
