Health Insurance Market Today

Mainly for the spouse of the clients that are T65+ looking for options. I get referred to people for U65 and have no options for them.

Significant problem for the couple there when the U65 spouse does not have access to an employer plan.

I just refer them to hc.gov.

Really don't have time for that kind of drama.

I refer them to HC also. However, the premiums are crazy high along with the deductibles and coinsurance as you know. I would spend an extra few minutes to see if a STM would work for the spouse. I hate explaining how ACA wrecked a market without having a option.

If STM plans have improved it could be an option.

I hope one day to be like you and be drama free...but until then.

I refuse to take the blame for how Obamacare made health insurance LESS affordable and LIMITED access to health care.

In other words, the problems of Obamacare are not my problem.

I also refuse to write an STM or limited benefit indemnity plan. Don't need that aggravation or professional liability for recommending/selling something that blows up or creates drama.

So I don't sell dental, vision, hearing aid insurance plans.

When you have been in the health insurance business as long as I have you learn how to uncomplicate things.
