First Health Insurance Products?

OK.. i was thinking of individual plans. The plans hyped as no deductible are normally along the line of Manhattan's Affordable Choice plan.
There are plenty of $0 deductible marketplace plans. Most people don't understand that a $0 ded. still has a MOOP. Usually, the $0 ded is a way to trigger copays on ER/Hospital stays instead of coinsurance.

A long time ago Guardian offered a $500 deductible major med then 100% plan and $2M or $3M lifetime cap. They may have also offered a $250 and $100 deductible plan.

They were surprisingly affordable for such rich benefits.

But did not all those plans go away .. other than short term ... go away with the passage of Obama Care?
 
There are some CSR plans available in NC with a MOOP as low as $550. Depending on the persons situation, they can get pretty low.
