Help Finding Northwestern Life Insurance and Accident Company

Hello,
I recently came across an old policy sold by this company. It is *not* northwestern mutual. Its home office was in Seattle and the Washington secretary of state corporations division says it is no longer active. I'm trying to find out if it was acquired by another company or what its final disposition is/was.

Any suggestions, thoughts, or comments?

Did you ever find the information you were looking for? I think this might have been a very early acquisition by Reliastar now under the ING umbrella..
