...works for the federal government and does disaster relief, which includes being called to fight forest fires - like the one(s) recently in the SW. Anyone write disability on a 31 year old man who is in this line of work?

Having a rough time finding something...any help would be appreciated.

Well, it turns out the actual position is one of 'forestry technician' and not fire fighter. He works for the US Fish and Wildlife Service and gets called out to go on various things that mostly involve disaster recovery and the like. It can also be helping with wildfires, but the position is not 'fire fighter.'

With that clarification, what do you DI guys think?

if he works for the federal government. PM me and i will hook you up with an IMO that markets DI to federal employee's.. it is not a big money maker. it will cost him about 50+ per pay..twice a month for about 1600-2000 worth of coverage. depending what insurance companies write in tx. the cross sell for life insurance is the money maker... the federal employees have a group term policy. their is a lot of IMO'S selling life to federal employees, but not DI. the DI is an easy sell. i think i sell 9 out of 10 appts. the problem is getting the appt.
