Hey Commercial agents- How long does it take to get credits added to a renewal??

I figure out exactly what their cancellation fees or short rate fees are, and how much I am saving them, and work that into the presentation.

That makes sense on the big wins, for sure!

IMO, commercial insurance is the way to go. Tough learning curve, but plenty of resources from the Companies to assist and ideally with underwriters that want to write the business and do what it takes to in placing the business.

Having an experienced agent to 'bounce' things off and answer questions is really helpful as well. Use the Forum, or PM me, more that happy to help!

Build a commercial book. Get to know your commercial owners. Resist the price trap, and drive home the point that you will do their shopping for them, if ever needed.
