I can't even watch a clip from Hoarders! It makes me want to clean my home OCD style! Actually, I'd like to have CDO which is OCD in alphabetical order. LOL!

These reality shows used to intrigue me until I picked up a client who is an editor for several of these shows (a couple on TLC). Had an interesting conversation about how "real" these shows were. He said there was so much boring time that would end up on the "cutting room floor", that they would often use clips out of context to add some excitement to the story line.

If Obummercare were on a cooking show, it would surely be Chopped.

Now that video shows OCD as it truly is. The current fad is to say OCD is cleanliness or order, but it's not. People with OCD truly have a mental disorder that makes them believe that something bad will happen to them if they do NOT properly perform their routines. I feel sorry for anyone who has that.

As for the current trend to call orderliness and cleanliness "OCD", I sure would like to have more of that!

I noticed that a long time ago on the few I would watch. There are a lot of continuity errors. I also wonder how much they egg on the participants on some shows in order to get more exciting tv.
