Hiring producer...

I was in process of hiring a producer who was in the life sales field and have their own leads to get started. Essentially they are looking to write p and c out of the life leads they have. These are 100% their own leads. However, I was under the impression they were going to use my resources for writing life. Turns out they want to be appointed with an outside life insurance company and have access to my markets for p and c.

Seems sketchy. What are your thoughts?
