it's true....you do learn something new everyday. 11 plus years and never heard of this until I saw this thread. Makes sense though, there has to be a ton of statistical reliable data on this....the claims handling of these claims must be interesting!

I'm actually an underwriter still. Looking to become an agent. I quote/write a lot of these especially in the summer. There are a few carriers that do write this. I didn't read all the previous posts but I believe the chances are 25,000 to 1 of someone actually hitting one so its a decent risk to write. Through my company, agents even have binding authority up to 10,000 prize limit and can quote online. Its rated on distance and number of golfers. We have a 140 yard min. Sorry, don't want to give out carrier info and get myself fired. I'm pretty sure Philly does have a program, one of our main competitors. When something is not a fit for me/my carrier I usually refer agents to Hole in One International. Think their rates are probably pretty good since they specialize in this class. Just google Hole in One international. Not sure if you need a contract. Hope this helps.
