Homeless: The Untapped Demographic?

That is despicable: all he did was mess those people up by trying to put a dollar in his own pocket. We'll just see what the end result is for him as well. In a word: sleazy. He is incompetent on many levels. When it comes to proof of income the policy will just fall off anyway. I'm not sure what he was thinking he would accomplish other than loss of business, loss of reputation, and possibly loss of his license over a few months income?

Also noticed it was George from HealthSherpa blowing the whistle!

From the article:
The N.C. Department of Insurance has been trying to sort out the arrangement since April 20, when a San Francisco-based software executive reported "suspected fraud" based on the large volume from one agent in two days, with identical incomes and many repeated addresses. George Kalogeropoulos, president of HealthSherpa Insurance Agency, told the state his company immediately disabled Kennedy's access to the ACA enrollment software.

I think the bottom line here is you guys are jealous, most of yall prob dont make more than the avg 94% CSR clientele anyway , he's doing Lord Obama's work, bring affordable health coverage to the unwashed masses.

More importantly he's an *** for pushing coventry, if your gonna break the law at least make it worth it....should of been uhc all the way and paid the $.43 mo premium for them. Could of walked away with 150k in advances.

600 x 25 = 15,000 on your credit card and hoping to make it back. What a moron, talk about high risk investing.

Most of the 600 policies were probably cancelled when HHS didn't receive any proof of income documents. The agent lost his shirt on this "investment". The state and feds are now preparing to take his pants, drawers, and right arm.

He might have enrolled them with an insurer that doesn't pay until 2 months after the effective date. I wonder what dates this 600 app/48-hour binge occurred? Plus, as G.Gordon pointed out, the guy paid Health Sherpa $25 per application submitted, using a high-limit credit card.

The only life changes for him will be his own...for the worse.
