How Can I Increase My Production?

5 to 10 per week, at least with final expense. If the top agents are closing 30% with most doing 20%, it takes a lot of leads to get to 25 per week

The record at EFES over 7 years and I don't know how many thousands of agents is a little over FE apps done by one person.

That wouyld be less than hal;f of what it takes to write 25 apps per week. I would call BS on the 25 apps per week. maybe 25 in a week one time, but not 25 week in and week out.

Just fill in the blank. It's sort of like the golf card that you fill out.

Just do more of what has been working for you in the past. Be careful of "Contest sales"! It leads to writing junk business that you will end up paying back your "winnings" in charge backs!
I've done well with contests before, but learned a lesson about trying to write anybody and everybody.
Good luck!

LOL.....There's just not enough hours in the week to write 25 FE apps per week each week.

Reminds me of an agent my old captive agency used to parade around. When I did the math, it was 6 apps a day...issued, for indie unwritten health.

Appointments also had to be done in-house so with the average appointment lasting over a hour, the math was easy.

When questioned, management called all nay-sayers "lazy and jealous."

Of course, this agent mysteriously disappeared a few years later. Turns out, he was forging apps. Go figure.

An Athens, TN agent in the 1970s wrote 109 apps in one week on the debit. (individual policies not worksite) When he was done, his AP for the week was $567. He wasn't writing FE, he was writing a $2000 accidental death policy issued by Life and Casualty that had a premium of 10 cents per week. ! How in the world he manged to have tiem to fill out that many apps I have no idea.. Not sure I would have done it if I could but he was proud of his app record.

It seems to me that everyone is in agreement that what he needs to do is exactly what he stated he didn't want to hear. "If you're just going to post 'Go out and work'".

If all he is writing is 1 to 3 apps a week it sounds like he has plenty of available time to spend more of his time working. I just don't know of a magic wand or bullet that he can use to increase his production without working more.

My income has always been directly proportionate to the amount of time I spend working.

Don't get me wrong guys, I do get out there and work. I was just looking for some tips and tricks from the pros. I've been actively seeking advice around the office as well, and reading everything I can get my hands on. There's a lot to learn in your first few months (and I've only been writing since December) so I'm just seeking good solid advice. Thanks for everything you've all posted.
