I am a LSP working hourly and commission.
I'm thinking of asking for commission only, and need to understand how captive agents pay their non-hourly employed.
Are there still quotas to meet, or is pay on all business wrote?
Do they still give a paycheck with taxes paid. I'd also be doing some service work still out of the office.
I'm guessing medical and vacation would go away?
Is it paid only on cold calling business, or are phone sales such as transfers and call-ins also paid?
What is an average rate for the commission percentage paid?
I doubt I'd get any renewals, this is for an Allstate agent.
The agent did offer me commission only when I first starting working for him. Now I'm thinking about it.
Thanks for any help.
