Well, yes and no. I understand that the leads come from a list that they mail, but I was wondering how they get the information. How they know the income range of an area and is there a way that we as the agents could do that on our own without spending money to have it done for us.

Exactly...you're asking for a targeted marketing list. Lists are generated from a variety of sources i.e. credit bureaus, etc.
