How Far Do You Work from where You Live?

Well I've been working 30-45 minutes away in semi-countryish areas. But for some reason I relate to folks in the inner city better I think. Fortunately, I live 15 min south of Indianapolis. Though I just placed a lead order around the 65/70 split...which they will close on Monday for 3 months lol.

So if you have to travel through Indy, go around 465.

I use to work 1 hour from my home and now I work 5 mins. Sure makes a big difference.

How do you manage that....just knocking doors in your apartment complex?

I know Newby never works more than 5 minutes away from home now. Thanks to one of his clients hooking him up with a teleportation machine.

I am working on an appointment right now that is about 500 miles away.

When I first started I would sometimes drive up to 6 hours. Now it tops out usually around 4 with 2 1/2 - 3 being more normal.

I do have clients outside my "comfort zone" - don't have to go far being in a metropolis, my first FE client was 1.5 hours away.

typically a 75 mile circle, however Tuesday I did a 200 miler for $1400

I live on the 40/85 corridor in NC. I go south and can be in 5 towns in an hour or less. I usually make an all day trip with appointments and drop ins in the town I am in. Round trip usually 50 to 175 miles depending on which town. Going north usually it is 60 to 100 miles roundtrip. Two days a week I try to work in my own town and just have in town driving.
