I ran quotes for a guy back in April, I also ran the reports..the premiums that I got back were not to bad..the were competitive with what he currently has and I was pretty optimistic that I was going to win the business. Well...he was a busy guy and was traveling..it got dragged out ..now 3 months later we are revisiting it. It turns out that he had accident in May...AND he had "no fault" incident in June. So when I have refreshed the quotes..they are like $1000 more than what I originally quoted.
1) So my question is..when do accidents, violations normally it the report?
2) Had he gotten the policy back in April..would it have automatically gone up in premium once the reports got updated?
3) When someone has a number of violations with in a given period of time...like 3 or 2 years..at what point will their current carrier raise their premium?
