How Many Leads to You Get from Your Website on Average?

For once we agree. There is no SEO in a can that is going to drive traffic to your site.

Just ask yourself this. If a pre-made website includes a lead capture form... why? The company doing this would be in the lead business themselves making a lot more money on capturing the leads instead of building websites that might get a handful off the form provided.

This is why each website must have its own personality. For leads this often means a combination of ways to capture leads.

Never mentioned in this section is the capture of email addresses. Without that you are probably giving away more future leads, than you are getting. However, I will leave that for another discussion.

No one answered the original question. HOW MANY LEADS can you capture (directly) without effort that will turn into business.

That depends upon the target "niche" you are going after, the demand, and your skill.

My company, now my wife's, works with recruiting agent programs with insurance companies and insurance marketing organizations.

For 10 years, (before all my strokes) it produced enough to net after expenses $300,000 to $520,000.

Today, with my limited contribution, and the big budget downshifts in recruiting that number is $100,000 per year.

Remember these are all firms calling directly in, not her following up someone who filled out a form.

I am going to set up for her some additional autoresponder work on emails captured, and some additional keyword phrases. These should get her up another $50,000.

However, your niche area may only have a certain amount of income potential. If so, at some point you have to evaluate making changes, maybe to expand your product line. Worse yet is to be seller of all, and master of none.

I will get you an example free hint. You could easily capture senior market life leads as an extra booster if you had policies you could sell over the phone.

NOT AN AD: Right now I am in the final process of developing a website sheet, targeted to state, that you can have for free. It may put you in a top ten Google position for the senior life sales in your area. This is no charge, and will be sent without any advertising or promotional material. ---compliments of me--- I simply need to know your domain name and territory.

Hope this helps.

writing for Google and not the reader.

You are doing both.

People are creatures of habit. The core search words don't change. That's why "health insurance" and "affordable health insurance" will always work . . . but those terms alone won't get you on page one.

In Atlanta, KP is doing some heavy promoting. If I had to guess, there are probably more searches for Kaiser, KP now than there was 6 months ago.

That is not to say that Blue Cross or BCBS or BCBSGA are not searched as well, but you could create your own niche here if you wanted by promoting a site that has KP info on it.

That is a great idea. Some one that someone here criticized me for working off a recognized name. It drives about 50% of the traffic.

Effective method: Now this is legal, and will get inquiries.
You get the domain: Kaiser Permante Review Warning. Then you write a review on their services. On the same website you do additional pages such as blue cross. The key here is the naming.

Example: kaiserpermente-warningreview.com/blue-cross-atlanta-review.

Review sites do very well if you do your research first. You might even want this domain: kaiserpermenteatlanta-review.com

I did this before on AutoOwners when they denied a $40,000 claim on another home I had. The local manager would not give me "his personal ace card" to get this claim in my favor. My website actions got listed right on top of his website. It has probably cost him at least $20,000 (maybe $50,000) of business.

So instead of promoting the company on your site. Your reviewing it as a danger or warning will get you personal client attention and steal direct business with the company.

Something to think about.

I know three agents who have received cease and desist letters from carriers by using their trademarked name in their domain name. One is very active on this forum is he chooses to tell the story again.

Each one was ticked off, each one not only took it down but turned over the domain those carriers.

That or you could spend 100K of your own money battling them in court. Who knows, maybe after a 2 year trial you'll win the right to keep using it.

This.

No trademarks or registered names in the domain name.

Stick to simple pages about the carrier. Or bid on adwords for the keyword.

There's never a situation where you can use a trademarked name in your domain name. Apple goes after people all time over this very issue.

Facebook and other major companies are trying to get all sorts of words and phrases trademarked. Use "book" in your domain and FB wants the ability to send cease and desist from FB.

Right now the battle is over "app store."

I'll explain it this way:

There are tax cheats who never get caught
There are speeders who never get caught
There are people who drive drunk and never get caught

Then there are

People who don't cheat on taxes
People who don't speed
People who don't drink and drive

Which are you?

SO YOUR SEO ADVICE IS ONCE AGAIN VERY UNRESEARCHED

LMAO

You have the uncanny ability to be wrong while simultaneously putting down others. I commend you for your persistence though.

You're giving subdomains as an example.

Subdomains and domains are two entirely different things.

John Hancock can't tell someone what to name a file (subdomain), but John Hancock can tell someone to not impede on a copyright if it's the DOMAIN NAME. The domain name for the first one is: topinsurance.org

The second one is pissedconsumer.com

Why don't you register something like: goldenruleinsurancereviews.org and write about golden rule and see if you don't get a C&D.

I was once told that the most expensive advice to get is free.

Just saying...

Golden Rule is not copyright, because there are also Golden Rule books.

Now why should I do your baby SEO work for you?

That is not using a subdomain. Like I said, learn a little before you speak. Confusing members does not help.
