For once we agree. There is no SEO in a can that is going to drive traffic to your site.
Just ask yourself this. If a pre-made website includes a lead capture form... why? The company doing this would be in the lead business themselves making a lot more money on capturing the leads instead of building websites that might get a handful off the form provided.
This is why each website must have its own personality. For leads this often means a combination of ways to capture leads.
Never mentioned in this section is the capture of email addresses. Without that you are probably giving away more future leads, than you are getting. However, I will leave that for another discussion.
No one answered the original question. HOW MANY LEADS can you capture (directly) without effort that will turn into business.
That depends upon the target "niche" you are going after, the demand, and your skill.
My company, now my wife's, works with recruiting agent programs with insurance companies and insurance marketing organizations.
For 10 years, (before all my strokes) it produced enough to net after expenses $300,000 to $520,000.
Today, with my limited contribution, and the big budget downshifts in recruiting that number is $100,000 per year.
Remember these are all firms calling directly in, not her following up someone who filled out a form.
I am going to set up for her some additional autoresponder work on emails captured, and some additional keyword phrases. These should get her up another $50,000.
However, your niche area may only have a certain amount of income potential. If so, at some point you have to evaluate making changes, maybe to expand your product line. Worse yet is to be seller of all, and master of none.
I will get you an example free hint. You could easily capture senior market life leads as an extra booster if you had policies you could sell over the phone.
NOT AN AD: Right now I am in the final process of developing a website sheet, targeted to state, that you can have for free. It may put you in a top ten Google position for the senior life sales in your area. This is no charge, and will be sent without any advertising or promotional material. ---compliments of me--- I simply need to know your domain name and territory.
Hope this helps.
