How Many Quotes

How many quotes a day are you guys making,

Then tell how many quotes for the entire agency and how many people you have finding the quotes....

Do you require a certain amount a month from producers?

We average about 4.65/day incoming and convert about 65% of those apps. That's not counting the leads/quotes coming in from the website...naturally, they convert at a much lower rate.

Our newest producer is working our "prospect" files as well...not sure how many quotes that's generating.

To make quarterly bonus my two PL producers must reach 60/month...which they haven't missed in two years

Did you have something in mind? or just curious?

We're also in a small town of approx 8K so that slows progress a bit

60 what? policies?

I do about 100 quotes a day. Conversion rate on these is sucky at best.

I use it as a marketing tool though.

What are your numbers?

When your calling your clients you should make sure you are asking them about Life Insurance also. It can increase your sales for the year and somtimes just one case can be a doozy.

It's 60 policies. 100/day huh...? Must be crazy at that office

I do commercial mostly so I am concerned with premium for the most part.

I would like to get personal lines mixed in more - how are these producers hitting 60/month ? are they referrals, cold calls, mail outs? Whats been working best for them?

Well thank you very much for depressing me people, i'm going to go and shoot myself now! How the heck do you get 100 quotes a day? Share the wisdom master!!!
I have got lot of work to do to get anywhere close to this number. May I ask how many agents you have?

Just me doing them, and I can actually do well over 100 quotes a day.
It's called automation.

Imagine this....
Buy a list of 100 aged leads.....
Use a tool to load them into your rater (i.e., 100 quotes).
Call them. If you get in touch with them, fix the quote.
If not, mail them the quote.

Yes, 100 quotes a day isn't a problem. Selling more than a few policies a day is a bigger issue.

Want to do some serious numbers? Get a list of auto vin numbers from Josh and go to town. Need a tool to read the spreadsheet and load it into your rater? Call me.

Being able to run 100 quotes a day, priceless.
