How Many Quotes

That sounds a little more like a direct mail program to me. Guess it's all in your interpretation of the term "quote" ....solicited vs unsolicited

Do people that get your mailers ever express concern that you may have run their credit without their consent?

Just me doing them, and I can actually do well over 100 quotes a day.
It's called automation.

Imagine this....
Buy a list of 100 aged leads.....
Use a tool to load them into your rater (i.e., 100 quotes).
Call them. If you get in touch with them, fix the quote.
If not, mail them the quote.

Yes, 100 quotes a day isn't a problem. Selling more than a few policies a day is a bigger issue.

Want to do some serious numbers? Get a list of auto vin numbers from Josh and go to town. Need a tool to read the spreadsheet and load it into your rater? Call me.

Being able to run 100 quotes a day, priceless.

Dan

How much do 100 aged leads run you and what rater do you use?

Doesnt Semcat have a web entry form? I'm sure there has to be a way to automate it so that the information could go straight into the rater and get a quote. (ive only demoed the home rater for semcat, not the auto side) but I wouldnt be opposed to using semcat for auto if it could be that automated instead of ezlynx.

Dan instead of doing this with aged leads, have you tried doing it with new leads?

semcat does have a form that can be filled in... would like to see how dan is getting them all uploaded and ran... right now i use semcat, and have to run them through each carrier 1 on 1... i'm a heavy medicare guy though, but i'd go to home/auto if i could run 100 day

Dan instead of doing this with aged leads, have you tried doing it with new leads?

A lot of new lead vendors have systems in place to automatically populate raters. I didn't want to rethink and redesign a round wheel.

When I did internet leads last year (auto), yes, the lead came from the vendor, went into my lead management system (AgencyIQ)which automatically dialed the contact and I'd open the attached file which would import directly in FSCRater and I'd have a quote, based on the lead info, with 15 seconds, hopefully about the time they were answering the phone from the auto dial.

Sounds better than it really worked. The technology part worked extremely well. The number of bad leads killed the deal though.
