How's the Biz in Boston?

Any agents live and do business in Massachusetts, more specifically Boston, or does anyone know what the health insurance market in Massachusetts looks like? My wife and I are planning a possible move there, but I want to make sure the insurance biz there doesn't suck...especially with the fact that they were first to pretty much get universal health care.

Also, if anyone knows how not only the health insurance industry's doing, but also the supplemental market, that'd be great! I could go to strictly voluntary if the major med market was no good. Anyway, thanks in advance for the help, forum.

I'm not sure how many Massachusetts agents we have on here, but it's a terrible state to do business in, particularly in the health market. If that's the determining factor in your decision to move, you probably should stay where you're at or pick a different state. Also on the list to stay away from would be New York.

You can get a non resident license in any state as long as you don't mind working at home and selling on the phone.
