Humana and CMS Certification

Has anyone gotten Humana to accept CMS's compliance training in place of the AHIP?

I thought that CMS required them to accept it!

What I'm hearing from Humana's agent support desk is that won't, but it seems clear from the CMS memo on agent testing that they have to. Any ideas?

I'm not crazy about paying for and taking AHIP when it seems like CMS is saying Humana has to take this in it's place.

Just to clarify, the CMS certification that I'm referring to is the pilot program that started this year (I took it through BCBS.) Ritter wrote about it on his blog and linked to a CMS memo that said they would require MAO's to take it.

Another update: I emailed my certificate to United American and they're taking it in place of AHIP or other compliance training.

I would say send it to Humana along with the CMS memo and see what they say. I am captive with Humana (for 7 more days), so I am taking their certification through AHIP.
