I tried exactly that in Chrome... and it still doesn't work for me.

I'm just glad I put it on video so you know that I'm reasonably adept with my computer and that I'm not crazy.

That above is a caching issue, but I just forced a global cache purge of forum images, it should now work.

I watched your second video, it is strange that the field when you select the avatar from your local folder, gets clear right before you click Okay.

Can you try on Chrome Incognito mode ?

I just followed some online steps to clear chrome cache and images and mine works now.
