Congrats!
Looks like I'm going to have to take my test! I originally got licensed 17 years ago and I've been out of the biz for 9.

You can only go 2 years with having a lic, before you must retake the test.

I can sponsor an agent to get their lic, by the way if any of you ever need it. It's a lot of extra paperwork for me, but I'm willing to help. I can do it in most states. New York is not one of them.

After you have passed the test, you must get an life insurance company to sponsor you, and submit your 40 hours of schooling, the paper that shows you pass and the paper from the state, that askes you all the questions about yourselve. Then you send that to an sponsor and they send all the paperwork along with the background check they do on you and recommend you to get a lic. I have two life companies that are willing to do this.

Thanks. No sponsor needed in PA. Online prelicensing then the state test. When I was licensed in NJ, we needed 40 hrs of class, but it is much easier in PA. Once licensed, I will be getting licensed in NV and NJ as well.

I've looked at your site and will probably catch up with you to chat soon. Thanks!

Just as a point of information. Check with the new guidlines with Reverse Mortgages. I think there have been some restrictions on offering RVM's and financial products. Congrats.....
