I Got Paid Today and what a Shock!

Policyholder has 90 days to pay their portion. If PH pays Jan premium but then lags Feb, Mar and Apr I suppose fed pays the Jan premium somewhere around Mar. When Feb premium is paid by the end of March the fed will pay their portion sometime around May or June.

Yeah, this can be a lot of fun.

Norwayguy,

As far as I know, the insurer has to just plug along like everything is fine if the gov't doesn't pay them. They have to keep incurring costs and paying claims, even if the majority or total sum of the premium for a given account has never been received. It's assumed the gov't will pay them, in full, for the covered periods, even if it happens to be very late.

State exchanges having some troubles. Minnesota still isn't sure when they will get paperwork out to those who enrolled in spring. Imagine being a provider.

JZ came back for a double dose of SPAM. Gee, looks like your earlier post got deleted. Wonder how long before this one is zapped?
