I have CANCER... and so should you.

View attachment 4330 I wish I had taken out a cancer plan. I considered it a few years back and passed. My wife was diagnosed with nonHodgkins Lymphoma in 2017 and has went through surgery, chemo, and drug therapy every eight weeks. She will be finished in about 8 months. She is currently considered cured but the drug therapy is to help combat return of the disease. This is her new look after treatment.
Wasn't aware she was going through this. Prayers of praise that she has recovered. May she remain cancer free.

Prayers for her and your family.
My dad went through it about 13yrs ago... same diagnosis. He's still kicking today and doing well.

Rouse, who is the best company to use?

Know this is an older thread but I just came across this question.. I still use primarily Washington National and Manhattan depending on the situation.. Would consider UNL for age 70+... Washington National has been fantastic on paying their claims..

Why not stick with just one? Is cost a major factor?

"I have CANCER... and so should you."

This reminds me of the South Park episode when Jared Fogle (Jared from Subway) revealed he had lost weight from the help of aides, and he wanted make sure lots of other people got aides so they could lose weight too.

Only in part.. WN does not pay commission on thier Solutions Cancer if any person to be insured is over age 70.. CUL/Manhattan does not issue past age 69 and does not include First Occurrence past age 65. WN is much better priced over age 45 but coverage is not as great as CUL.. Even at younger ages they offer lower priced options. Under 44 I prefer CUL because 1) covers immuno same as chemo, 2) skin cancer benefits 3) 27 other diseases covered the same benefits as cancer other than the first occurrence benefit.4) travel and lodging benefits paid even if treatment is in a Government or Charity hospital, 5) tutor benefits 6) good therapy benefits. In my particular case where I was never hospitalized the CUL plan B would have paid twice what the comparable WN and UNL plans paid because of the way the plans pay for chemo..
