I have to agree. I visit TG every once in a while and fail to see the attraction of it. It's all hype. There is as much bad advice given there as is given here or on any other web-board. Same with good advice.

The whole military theme is stupid. My bet is that 90% of the agents on that board (and this one) never served in the military nor will they want their kids too either... especially to go to fight and die for what will eventually become a historically meaningless conflict (i.e. Vietnam again.) Military life is not (or should not be) "cheap" but our elected leaders on both sides of the aisle don't see it that way for some mysterious reason.

As for TG, I guess, as Miss Jean Brodie said, "For those who like that sort of thing, that's the sort of thing they like."
