ICHIP Ending 12/31/2013 - Notice To Policyholders

Below is a link to a Notice and Documentation that was mailed in late June to the +21,000 individuals in Illinois who are covered by the BCBS ICHIP health plan. The Illinois Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan is (was) guaranteed issue, administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and premiums were partially subsidized by the state.

This notice informs insureds that their coverage will terminate on 12/31/2013. In a few months, they'll be informed of options for enrolling in a new ACA Qualified Health Plan.

I'm really curious if other programs (like All Kids) will be affected. They told me no, but their website was also last updated in July 2012.
