The balance there is that anything they give you post tax is income and reduces your subsidy as well.That makes sense.
Somebody making less than $30k a year - probably gets a refund I would imagine.
In my case - I wouldn't mind having to have my premiums post tax since the plan is much better and maybe the Employer would fund a HSA or comprable product. I wonder if that would be pre-tax?
I would also think the plans being offered on the ICHRA are at minimum the same and in some cases better. Carriers (especially the blues) put their better networks off exchange rather than on and the Silver plan premiums are typically lower.
