IL: Getting Ready for 2016

Today the Illinois Department of Insurance published its annual "Rate and Plan Analysis". This 61 page document for 2016, is full of state information on Premiums, Silver Plan changes, Company/County participation information, and more.

One tidbit I found interesting is that there are now 0 (zero) Platinum plans on Healthcare.gov in Illinois. (BCBSIL, and maybe other companies(?), have a Platinum plan available for off-exchange purchase, however.)

What is the highest available PPO plan? I have the BCBS gold ppo and received the dreaded Blue Choice notification.

Now we know the rest of the story about Land of Lincoln. They knew back in Summer they wouldn't need to file rates for 2016.
