IMO That Provides No Cost Leads

You may consider signing on as an agent with a property & Casualty company, most will help with P&C licensing, training, and lead financing. Leads will not be totally free but most will help you get started when you sign on as a "captive agent", which means you're not independent.

Thanks for all of the input. I consider myself new to the industry. And I'm working a full time and trying to get my footing back in insurance. I've sold final expense with NAA when I first got my license and my experience with them turned me off. I realize now that I really enjoyed the the process but not the company. I may put things on hold a bit and save up some seed money to get started the right way.

Thanks again.

I realize that no leads are actually free but I don't have the budget to commit to a $400 a week lead flow. Are there any IMO's or companies that any of you would recommend that provide leads at no, upfront, out of pocket costs? I appreciate any input.

Lincoln heritage provides leads upfront at no initial cost to the agent and then take a percentage (I think it's 20%) of their commission check every week to cover the repayment of the costs of those leads.

SLS out of ATL, I believe has free leads.

Let me tell you from 15 years of personal experience 7 YEARS face to face last 8 years being telephonically providing coverage for health life and voluntary employee benefits, 100% over phone

Mostly that you get are not exclusive, they're sold two or three times and if an agent can't close on them they go right back into their system and then you end up getting the customer saying you've already called me 4 v damn times quit calling me and that lead probably cost 4 $5 to generate and they sold it for fifty bucks after it was sold two or three times.

The companies out there that are generating leads are crap
Most agents just want to make a quick buck and they don't understand the training that goes into this it's like any other job you've got to put the time in to learn this space

Remember all a lead is a chance to have a conversation it is not a sale, the sale comes from being highly skilled and trained and subconscious sublingual agreement patterns hard and soft abrasive rebuttals and conscious yes patterns, an one-on-one virtual or face-to-face training.

In my 15 years of experience in 8 being telephonically a live transfer I believe is the only way to go.

Stop spending your time on computer-generated leads that are resold and resold Like a Village bicycle being ridden passed around.

If you're spending your money on leads and leads and leads and more leads why don't you save yourself some time invest in a training program or they either teach you how to create your own leads e invest in yourself and get some good telephonic training just for this space. Almost 90% of people in this space suck face at the telephone I sure did when I started.

get yourself some affordable life transfers that's the only way I believed to exist in this game generate , or like I said generate your own leads so you know their exclusive right to you.

So in conclusion there is Affordable leads out there to help you make a sustainable decent living for you and your family but you have to do your Dil diligence you can get online right now and all you see is lead vendor after lead vendor after leave vendor but yet you talk to people and ask them about their leads and they tell you they suck but their advertisement tells you they're better than anybody out there

I'm finally glad that I join this forum I've had some colleagues tell me that I probably need to get on here and share a little bit my information so I can help these newbies and maybe learn a few things and I haven't learned yet and I know there's a bunch of it

BLESSINGS

Seems legit

Free leads are the most expensive leads you will ever buy.

Your only choice would be to find a local agency and become their employee, assign commissions to them take 50% commissions and run the leads they dish out to you. Free leads don't exist in the independent world.
You are so correct! Free anything is not cheap!

IMO, if you're looking for free leads, you're probably not ready to be independent. I had a conversation with an agent about joining up with my tiny, but scrappy squad and even after pointing out we reimbursed up to 6k a year for Medicare leads....his very first question was, "What leads do you provide?"

Mofo whuuttttt???

The concept of if you're going to get full ownership, commissions, and renewals of your business, then you might have to spend a dollar out of your pocket first was just foreign to him. Suffice it to say, the TRG roster didn't grow that day.

I have a free lead program where agents start at 70% and we don't have a contract. You would own your book and aren't captive. Contrary to popular opinion on here, I have several agents who do well on this program. I may not be the best fit, but I'll at least give you a transparent take on things. I have agents that started on free leads to get their cash flow right and then transition to a higher comp program down the road as well. Good luck figuring this thing out!
