Dear Valued Broker,

We’ve identified an issue with our 2021 prescription drug plans’ (PDP) pricing posted on CMS’ Plan Finder tool (Medicare.gov). The drug pricing posted for our three Cigna and three Express Scripts PDPs is incorrect. While consumers will be able to enroll, neither you nor your customers will be able to fully evaluate our 2021 PDP pricing using CMS’ Plan Finder tool (Medicare.gov), Express-ScriptsMedicare.com, nor Cigna.com.

This does NOT impact our MAPD plans for 2021.

We are working diligently to correct the issue and expect to have the pricing corrected on Cigna.com and Express-ScriptsMedicare.com by October 20th and on Medicare.gov no later than October 26th. We will notify you once the pricing has been updated and suggest that you revisit the sites on the dates listed.

Please note that this issue does not impact our 2020 PDP pricing. All 2020 plans can be found on Cigna.com, Express-ScriptsMedicare.com, as well as Medicare.gov.

We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, please contact CARL at 866.442.7516 or your Cigna Broker Representative.

Thanks for the heads up.

:D

There goes my record. Only 4 years, not 5.

I am sure I will be hearing more from @sman and @Yagents .

(However, the October 1 data looked good and matched well with the Cigna anoc.)

Is this where I'm supposed to say "told you so"?

I don't rub sore spots normally, but there are always exceptions granted.

Nope.

Decision result still the same as day 1.

Relatively small med price change, but still overall best plan choice.

For 5 years running, my first day plan finder results have been good enough to provide reasonable plan to plan comparisons for decision making.

I still don't understand why, Every new system is started oct 1st instead of before, Every change oct 1st all testing of the system after oct 1st

not just Plan finder but every carrier does the same, I am getting so many emails from carriers enroll this way now include this now do this now

Why do they wait till game time to test I don't understand

It's a sad day when a gov't run website can't update drug pricing on a nightly basis.
BTW, direct websites for WC and Express are up and running

Medicare Plan Finder Update
Some of you may have noticed today the pricing on Cigna & Express Scripts Part D Plans is gone -- it is just displaying “N/A”. The latest update from CMS is that this is due to a data issue from Cigna & Express Scripts and won’t be resolved until the next drug pricing update on October 26.

Noticed issue with Wellcare preferred pharmacies. Clients have received letters your local pharmacy is longer preferred, but Medicare Plan Finder shows it is.
