Individual Dental

Go ahead, Joe, and post it. We pick apart everything so we can drill down to the best of the best. I would like to know good dental options. I've been like the rest of the crowd with 3 suggestions - 1) call your dentist about which discount dental plan they are on and buy that one; 2) Delta Dental but it's expensive and has waiting periods; 3) take a group option if you can.

NO... I refuse to post it... This is a TRAP!

:D

Oh good lord.......

I'm not doing a discount plan. I can sell the damn 12 month major waiting period. These are people who want dental insurance. And I don't want them talking to anyone else.

if you are not selling dental in this business model then you are missing out on
7% -15% additional revenue. Some of the dental carriers have fair life long comps with decent bonus programs.

People like to have dental.

I wish there were a dental plan between discount/hmo/prepaid and Delta Dental.

I haven't looked diligently, due to being disappointed so many times, because every one that I've seen blows up in 1-2 years when the waiting periods are over, or else the premium equals the sum total of benefits. So, if there is something good out there, please share!

I sell quite a bit of group dental, which has great benefits, no waiting periods, and much lower premiums.

I don't sell ANY discount plans and my highest dental pays well over 30% level. I contract people at 30% level if they do massive production, little less if regular agent.

I only sell the best of the best we have never sold mini meds or junk products.

It is a disservice to tell your client to negotiate with your dentist or not at least give them access to a ppo dental network.
That is your duty when selling a health policy. Proper dental hygiene is essential to your entire overall health.

ACA dropped the ball by not mandating dental for ALL applicants. You should have to either have dental baked in or attest and prove other coverage.

This sounds like a job for the Sherpa boys!

Give me a decent dental plan that can be added with a click or two and I'm all in.

Just make sure if they don't pay the dental the health won't lapse...

Maybe I need to call into Joe's office as a prospect and see how the pros sell it.

----------

By "filling" in the details Joe, we can "crown" the king, and stop "drilling" you to the "root"

Maybe we can "bridge" this gap by pulling together.

I prefer to desperate the dental coverage so its not with the same carrier as the health. It goes back to my game plan of getting at least two policies on each individual client.

Ning said they are working on adding dental plans to the Sherpa platform.

I used to sell quite a few of the $10 @ month Aetna Dental discount plans. People loved them due to the wide acceptance and 30%-60% across the board discounts. But it seems that dentists are now weaseling their way out of accepting stand-alone PPO dental discount plans, just like doctors did with the PPO Medical discount cards a few years ago.
