Interested in EFES

In the 5 years I've ben with EFES no one has even hinted that I should terminate outside contracts nor has anyone ever asked for a passcode to any other company website.

The two people I talked to both insisted on it. That was ultimately a big reason why I didn't want to work with them. If they were going to be that controlling right off the bat I could only imagine what it would be like once they had me by the balls.

We have heard the terminate outside contracts thing before. I think it is more a controlling manager than EFES. I do not know Travis and have no contracts with him or Newby but he appears to be a stand up guy. Swearengen has his own code.

Scott (Newby) Burke get this man some contracts!!! :)

Yes, some managers do ask for contracts to be terminated and for website passwords. However, to be fair these extreme measures were brought about due to agents looking to "pimp" some cheap leads and place business outside of the EFES carriers.

That is the major fundamental flaw in a national lead program such as EFES and Secures. Bad agents drive up the cost for the good agents. It has gotten so bad that leads that you subsidized by giving up 20 to 30 points of commission you can now generate on your own for nearly the same cost.

Lots of folks sell lots of final expense in Florida. Equita and Securus both have agents doing very well there. You must not know many people.

Jimmy is right... EFES number one all time agent is in Florida he has written us over a million dollar in AP over his six years of writing perm for us.... maybe it helps that he looks like a cop... but he does it year in and year out...

Whatever. Talking to a bunch or recruiters is a dead end road. FE is great to sell but harder in some states. Florida was the hardest for my agents. Well, maybe California was a little harder. But neither are impossible. It just take s a real special agent to make it.

Cali is definitely way harder than florida based on my view from a 10000 foot view

props to all the successful cali agents i don't know how you do it with limited GI products available as well as no american continental..

I also passed on EFES twice, for the same reason. I understand the reason, but if you are given a good contract, that should not be an issue.
