Interested in EFES

Hi Marc,

I have no dog in this fight. I do not work for anyone and no one work for me. But I have been doing this for a couple years. If it is easier in other states, which ones? I may move there. There certainly is no shortage of business here.

I have never worked Florida. But we hear people here in California saying LA is bad for X type of sales or the Bay Area is bad for Y type of sales. Yet there are agents making good livings in all the areas. I believe I could make it in just about any area. Well, check that, Anywhere they are not playing banjos. :goofy:

You saying you are not a "Deliverance" kind of guy?

Whatever. Talking to a bunch or recruiters is a dead end road. FE is great to sell but harder in some states. Florida was the hardest for my agents. Well, maybe California was a little harder. But neither are impossible. It just take s a real special agent to make it.

I don't know of a single person that replied to your story that is a recruiter.

What's traffic?

And anyone that says Florida isn't hard to sell in is lying or dreaming.
I must be dreaming then:SLEEP::SLEEP: The only time I don't sell when I am awake in SUNNY FLORIDA:laugh: is when my attitude is not good.
This is the easiest sale I ever did! And , humbly give credit to people here and my managers...

Heeeyyyyyyy....Im special!! Wait, is that "special" like Rick?

I've been trying to decide on an area of life insurance to specialize in here in Colorado and I was wondering about this; if one state or region would be a better fit for FE than another. I would think that ultimately success rests on the shoulders of the agent no matter where they are. Are there any agents from Colorado on here that specialize in FE?

Come on out to KY. You can sell a policy to a guy, his wife and his sister. And it'll only be two policies.

Florida is not a good place for Final Expense sales. Never known anyone to do very well there that wasn't a college educated financial advisor. The old folks there are generally only going to trust someone they already know and rarely going to want to meet with you. They hang up the phone as quick as the phone rings. Good luck.

You've met some bad agents then- I moved over to FE full time from traditional life sales, mainly MP 5 years ago-

My costs are a little higher now that I'm having to purchase my own leads but my production has actually increased-
