Re: Internet Leads...

Something doesn't sound right here...

$83 for a generic BP med? Most of 'em (an example would be Atenolol which is generic Tenormin) are $4.00 for a thirty-day supply at Wal*Mart and Target.

Are you sure?

My bad, I had this mixed up with another case. The drug is Budeprion 150 Sr. but the price was $83 for a 30 day supply - generic. Are you familiar with this drug anti d.

Budeprion is $87 for 150mg on the Humana site. 100 mg is $41. It is considered a tier 2 drug.

It is the generic equivalent for Wellbutrin and it is used for depression, not HTN.

Same drug at Costco is $118.

You can get 60 tabs (Wellbutrin) from Canada for $67 or you can opt for generic and get 90 tabs from India for $62.

Gee Bill. I wasn't whipping up on you. Just filling in some holes.

You did ask if anyone was familiar with it.

FWIW, and this is a general comment not directed at anyone, just because a med is a generic doesn't automatically make it a $15 copay. Some, like this one, are still pricey and are carried as a tier 2 or even tier 3 med.

I guess you couldn't tell that I was joking? My next statement was going to be that I would "get some and bringem to ya".

BTW do you know if this drug would be covered under the $35 Co-pay with Aetna? Just checking if you knew off the top of your head. I have checked several others between carriers, but never got around to checking this one. The lady and her husband have no intention of leaving H1.
