I'm wanting to educate myself in marketing insurance products on the internet. Does anyone have any suggestions on any books, courses or information that would be helpful ?

There are a lot of ebooks available on SEO. Some are very good. In fact I got my start in SEO by reading one of them. However!, it's best to start with books from Amazon or another well-known book seller unless you can get an ebook for free.

You might want to use a throwaway email address when you request a free ebook. You might get spammed to death otherwise.

Most good beginners books from Amazon, etc. will cover everything you might find in a typical SEO ebook and a lot more.

You will find a lot of advanced and/or more current stuff on the Internet that may be harder to find in a regular book. However, you will need to have a good understanding of the basics before you can tell a useful advanced technique from one that just makes a good book title.

Shari Thurow is a good SEO author.

John Alexander will send you free tips by email. He does this to promote his workshops, but the ratio of promotion vs useful information is excellent. He won't send you spam.

He appears to be a very knowledgeable and ethical man. I had the privilege of meeting him earlier this year at one of his workshops.

I'm not an SEO superstar by any means, but my main site does well for a lot of phrases that include the words "health," "insurance" and "Connecticut" such as Connecticut family health insurance.

I'd rather code or blog than sell insurance at this point in my career (talking to clients loses its zest after a quarter of a century ) and my advertising budget is greatly reduced because of what I've learned about SEO.

We are in Building 7 Aisle 3 at Turtle Creek. It's the booth that sells Hand-made purses from India for $4 and Alligator meat for $2.50 per pound.

Must have ID and membership to Association to actually move past booth opening and into the 30x84 showroom.
