1. I see that Americo has an Ipad app with signatures. What would be your suggestion for a tablet to use in the field? I realize most will say pen and paper, but I am finding a new interest and comfort level with seniors and technology with thingslike Ipads. Some of my clients are on Facebook.

2. What apps are you using to make electronic applications work?

Does their ipad app include the FE series? That would be the Ultra Protector. It was my understanding that it did not.

I believe Americo is offering a promotion if your write 10 aps equals a free ipad. I would imagine they are promoting and wanting agents to use the Ipad for paperless aps making the process more efficient for the agent and company.

I prefer the Android platform, but will use an Ipad if given one in a heart beat.

I would love if all the carriers had apps for the ipad. Already I have all the agent guides, rate tables etc saved on my iPad. If I didn't need all the paper apps all I would need to carry is maybe a small 3 ring binder for replacement forms, a legal pad and my iPad.

Though right now I'm using my iPhone as a wifi hotspot to give Internet access to my iPad which drain both of their batteries super fast. I guess I'll need to get a new iPad with 3G/4G connection soon.

If you don't want to pay for a 3g connection you can take the app at the home and get all the signatures and then when you are back at the house or office just press "send".
