Is 100% Contract a Good Start for Final Expense?

I just got into the business a few months ago and was wondering if 100% was a good starting contract for selling Final Expense? Leads are about 15 bucks , which seems ok, but what about that contract? Good? Bad?

It also depends on the carrier, but that is certainly a reasonable starting point.

You want to pay attention to your renewal rates also. New agents often focus only on 1st year and get screwed over on renewals. Should be between 7 to 10 % years 2 to 10

That's 20 points above street with 15 dollar leads. Not bad considering what other groups do.

Monumental has a direct mail coop too, I think it's like 350 a thousand if you're contracted with them.

Street with most companies is 105%.

Monumental's lead program is $275 per 1,000
