Gov. Perry to speakin Dallas on Ebola case

Gov. Rick Perry has scheduled a news conference at a Dallas hospital where a man
with the first case of Ebola diagnosed in the U.S. remains in isolation.

Gov Perry should ask the ER why, when specifically told by the patient that he had recently flown in from Liberia, they sent him home with antibiotics.

Just because this forum post will come up when people inevitably begin searching the internet for "does my insurance cover ebola":

Yes, yes it does.

Health insurance covers sickness, especially if it requires medical attention. Ebola, in this respect, is no different than any other sickness.

(I presume all of us on here know this, but there's a lot of non-professionals that stumble here on a web search.)

He should be asking the Feds why the **** did you allow someone in coming from Liberia!!!

Rick is a small government guy. In his world there wouldn't be a department in the Federal government that would handle this.

Correct, with the caveat that it likely won't cover the CDC medication as it has not been FDA approved for the treatment of Ebola (or anything else).
