So I guess its true Humana Announces It is Seeking a Suitor article is on ritter as of june 1st. I am really surprised how can a company like humana who has put so much into being ahead in this market Now want out?

Obamacare is chewing up carriers and spitting them out.

That being said, they are the #2 carrier in the Medicare Advantage market. If you want to get out of a bad market and have something of value (in this case Medicare) you go for it.

I wouldn't think they would want out but where I am getting confused it seems the article was stating they were shopping their medicare buis to Aetna and cigna

No one wants their IFP block. If they hope to get anything for the company they have to include the Medicare block.
