Aetna AND UnitedHealthOne just issued a joint statement (I'll provide the link) and others will certainly follow.
It reads (in part): "When state exchanges are enacted in 2014, no compensation will be paid to brokers marketing our individual health products. Instead, we will pay a one-time payment of $50 if the applicant signs a statement in advance of the application submitted that clearly states broker assisted them in purchasing the product. Only "Bronze" policies will be eligible for this payment. 4-1-10
