Jan 1st Extension Coming?

I don't think there will be an extension...how many days will the carriers need for 1/1? With all the issues, even the 15 days are a challenge for them...

Dorado, last year, HHS directed insurers to do a contorted extension that featured a retroactive effective date. Check it out...

Do applications have to be in the chosen CARRIER's system before midnight this coming Monday 12/15, or, is having the Marketplace's acceptance before midnight adequate?

NY has extended the deadline 5 days, as of a few minutes ago. Individual only, Group still has the 15th cutoff. Guess those Friday guesses weren't too far off.

That is midnight eastern for us in central time zone. So 11:00PM we're being told here.

Confirming... Enroll in a plan using HealthSherpa or ACA-Express before midnight ET on 12/15/2014. The enrollment arrives at the chosen carrier after Midnight. We're still OK for a January 1st effective date?
