Kia Optima 2018 stuck in auto shop for 7 months

It is in the repair shop and they have already replaced the windows which were shattered by the thief.
If we take to an Indy shop, will the insurance have any problem?

Buy the parts, take them to the shop, say "Here, fix my car." The cost of the parts is already in the estimate. It's your car, you're the boss.

No, you are clueless about lemon laws. They have nothing to do with damage.

Also, I never said when a car gets damaged it then becomes a lemon. That was an assumption on your part.

The point was if your car is in the repair shop that long it may be a lemon. In fact, I was Trying to wrap my head around why the car was being repaired if the thief was stopped. Here was my quote: "What I do not understand is why the car is in the shop for repairs by the insurance company? The would-be thief never had the chance to steal your car. Did the thief damage your car prior to him trying to steal it? What did the thief damage?" I wanted more information.
