I am trying to find competitive markets for large 100 - 500 unit apartment/condo's on a national level. I have one market that is quite competitive although it seems that is the only market I have access to at the moment. Who writes these other than Travelers & Chub?

Most everyone will, but being competitive is another thing,

A few of my property managers specifically say they like Travelers policy, so sometimes you need to sell the policy.

These types of policies, the companies LOVE and will play with rates, I get this reply email often, What premium do we need to beat?

Thanks for the input, now to go a step further. I want to place them in a group plan but no-one seems willing to create one just take them over? Any ideas as to how i might bridge that gap?

I don't understand your question. You want to write several properties on one policy? You want to start a program? I am not clear on what you mean by a group plan for apartment owners nationwide.

We have CSE, USLI, and Philadelphia. Have you tried any of those?

How is USLI to work with on apartments? How do their rates compare to Travelers, Mercury and CIG? Do they inspect and nit pick every property? I have been talking to them but I wanted some info before I brought them on board because their reps are very active and want to see you all the time.

Haha I read it as "their reps are very attractive and want to see you all the time"
I was thinking I need to get an appointment with that company!

We like USLI, but they are very hands on. I also think that it is important to make sure that you can deliver for the carrier has well. We generally bind several policies a week with them.

I don't sell any of the carriers that you mentioned above, but they are competitive with the Hartford.
