IMO's do Direct Mail drops. ltcadviser invested in a professional website and people find his website when they Google for LTCi info. That's how he generates his own leads.

Generating your own leads is definitely cheaper in the long run, if you're willing to spend time/effort learning SEO/PPC. There's a huge learning curve though and it'll require a lot of heartache before you see the long term results paying off.
