Liberty Bankers, Texas Life

What does anyone think of these 2 companies? Rates? Underwritting? And so on.

Texas life isn't bad. Immediate benefit rates are inline and they are fairly reasonable for diabetics. Their graded and modified rates are high however.

Texas Life is high like AmAm -- but their support staff is excellent.

Somewhat easy to work with underwriting, but no real niche. Just a good solid FE company to deal with.

Only reason I could see previously to have had Liberty Bankers was for their ability to handle direct express business. That can now be taken care of by 5 Star so I can't really think of a good reason to use Liberty.
