Life Needs Questionaire?

I am new to life insurance and I am putting together a questionaire to go over with prospective insureds to assess their life insurance needs. Any info of what to ask or if anyone has something that has worked before please let me know.

On another note anyone know of any insurance sales seminars in the Central NJ area?

Why do some folks buy a Benz when a Ford will get you there just as fast?

"Needs" is not a powerful buying motivator...better to assess their wants...

Life needs analysis has been done many times in many forms. You don't need to reinvent the wheel.

Personally, I just use a legal pad. That is of course, after reading the FNA and memmorizing it's key points. It's one thing to hand out a printed copy and it's another thing to have a conversation. Just food for thought.

Ummm.... What is the FNA?

yea, FNA is as others answered. There are probably several versions floating around. The one I used is 20 years old as I have been in the biz for 20 years. But I rarely gave it to clients or used it infront of them.

You want to project a image of experience and knowledge when in front of a client. When you pull out a preprinted detailed form and walk through it or use a page by page sales track, with some people you come off as a trained monkey.

I know, I know there are people who make a great living turning pages in their presentation. So it can work.

You have to find out what type of sales person you are and what type of learner your prospect is.

For me, it was memmorize the FNA and adapt it to a presentation without slicks or preprint. The ole yellow legal pad sale. But to each their own. If you are comfortable using an printed FNA in selling fine, you don't have to apologize to anyone. If you don't like using one, that's ok too. The main thing to learn in this business is what type of agent are you? Then try to do what works for you, as you are the only person that cares about you.
