I do not believe a life policy with a rider for CI would even be called a hybrid....I would call it life insurance with a rider....whether it be CI or LTC. Semantics

LIMRA counts UL policies with CI riders in their sales figures for hybrids.

They can count it if they like....but when people on this forum talk about hybrids, that is not the type of product being referred to as a rule.....at least not when I describe a hybrid.

My presentation says we can discuss traditional plans, hybrid plans on a life or annuity platform, permanent life insurance with LTC riders, longevity annuities, or Medicaid spend down rules.
