Hi everyone,
I was just recently licensed and would like this forum's help in finding a good GA in the state of Pennsylvania. Any of you guys know of any?

Also, when selling, is having the most competitive product one of the requirements to be successful?

Thanks

Sorry, I can't recommend a GA in Pennsylvania. A friend is a health agent in PA, but works from home, and doesn't take on agents. I just checked his website, and recommend that you look for contracts with Aetna, Assurant, Health America, Golden Rule (United Health Care) and Blue Cross.

Look in the good old yellow pages. Maybe someone nearby can help you.

With respect looking for an individual GA locally in the yellow pages is a very bad idea.

A good individual GA (there are not many) can provide on going training, support, and in very rare instances leads.

Goober in the phone book can not.

Correct about signing a contract - particularly the RELEASE between GA and if the GA pays you or insurance company pays you.

My contracts are paid from the carrier with release unless advance, which I don't do anyhow. GA's are tough to release from with most health carriers - that is good advice.

TXINSURANCE -

Does your quote above work the same with Life Insurance GA's? I'm looking to sign with a Life Masters Group and was wondering what questions I should be asking them. I will definitely appreciate your input on this.
