I agree; there are a lot of old school meta tags that haven't been used by search engines in years. It is just code bloat serving no purpose other than to make the site load more slowly.

Can I steal the idea of this thread and ask you guys what you think of the "seo" of this website?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -The good news is that your site is #1 on Google for the phrase "Free Supplement Quote". The bad news is that there's pretty much no search volume for that phrase.
Start by doing some keyword research on what you want to optimize your site for. You gotta aim before you shoot! Find some good phrases that your prospects will use to find you with decent volume that aren't too competitive.
If you don't know how to do this, hire someone like Dave Miller (dmiller90 around these parts) to help you. No point in wasting time optimizing for search phrases that aren't going to bring prospects to you or are too competitive.
Oh, and I'll let Dave or someone else weigh in on the quality of HTML you get from Intuit sites because I'm a bit biased.
Can I steal the idea of this thread and ask you guys what you think of the "seo" of this website? My SEO was done by me and I do not know anything about SEO and this was my first website ever. But guess what, I actually had a phone call today from an actual senior who saw my site. didnt turn into anything yet. he found the website by a business card that one of my current clients gave him.
Thanks
Not that I'm optically challenged, but there you have the Adjust Font buttons on top of the threads.
I hope you find them useful.
